Ryann Peats is currently in the Creative Writing Program at Colorado State University studying poetry. Her identity as a lesbian influences her poetry as well as her work at a domestic violence shelter where she works as an advocate and crisis hotline operator. Her work has previously appeared in the March Issue of The Stay Project.
