Ryan Patrick Smith (they/him) is the author of the chapbook The Death Metal Pastorals (Black Lawrence Press, 2019). They have been a semi-finalist in the Discovery/Boston Review contest, and their poems have appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Boston Review, DIAGRAM, and elsewhere. They are a poetry editor for Boulevard Magazine and Poetry is Currency and teach in the MFA in Writing program at Lindenwood University. They live in Massachusetts with their spouse and have just brought a new witch into the world.
